In the Baan Jeen – Chiang Mai Rd. project, Farg Design Studio used Collage as the primary technique for both design and painting, creating a space with diverse aesthetics that reflects a unique identity. The collage technique allowed us to seamlessly blend different materials, shapes, and colors, resulting in a natural and storytelling feel in every corner of the house.
The use of collage in this design is not only about combining materials and forms but also about presenting new ideas to create connections between various elements of the space. For example, we merged traditional Chinese patterns with modern materials, giving the Baan Jeen space depth and intrigue. The hand-painted collage technique further enhances the uniqueness of each area, such as by layering different patterns to create complexity and richness in every part of the home.
At Farg Design Studio, our design and painting approach aims to deliver a beautiful living experience with meaningful expression, while also reflecting the owner's personality through a one-of-a-kind method. The collage technique, full of detail and creativity, plays a key role in achieving this vision.
